Frequently asked questions
- How do I play?
- Pick a quiz, then answer each question before the timer runs out. The faster and more accurate you are, the higher you score. Play solo through the bundled packs, or start a pass-and-play round and hand the device around the table.
- What is pass and play?
- Pass and play is a local party mode for the people in the room. Everyone shares one device, takes turns answering, and the App keeps score. No second phone and no internet connection are needed.
- How do I build my own quiz?
- Open the in-app editor, add your questions and answers, and save. Your quiz is stored on your device so you can play it any time. When you are happy with it, you can publish it to the community for other players to enjoy.
- What happens when I publish a quiz?
- Publishing uploads the quiz content along with an anonymous ID and the display name you chose, so other players can find and play it. No real name or email is attached. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
- How do I delete a quiz I published?
- You can delete your own published quizzes directly inside the App at any time. If you need anything else removed, email taoufik.leon.jabbari@gmail.com with the display name shown on your device.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Trivio does not require sign-in or an account. You can play, build, and publish using an anonymous identity, with just a display name of your choosing.
- Can I remove ads?
- Ads keep Trivio free. There is no paid ad-removal option yet, but it is on the roadmap.
- The app crashed or something is not working
- Please email taoufik.leon.jabbari@gmail.com with your iOS version, iPhone or iPad model, and what you were doing right before the issue. A screenshot helps a lot.
- How is my data used?
- See the Privacy Policy for the full answer. Short version: your progress and unpublished quizzes stay on your device, published quizzes go to Firebase under an anonymous ID and your display name, and AdMob shows ads. We do not collect real names, emails, or location.
- Where can I leave a review?
- If you enjoy Trivio, an App Store review is the kindest thing you can do. It takes 30 seconds and genuinely helps the game find more players.
