Puzzle Glass: Jigsaw Art (the "App") is a jigsaw puzzle game published by Chronos Studio .Inc ("we", "us"), available on the App Store and on Google Play (package com.taoufikjabbari.puzzleglass on both). This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is collected, which third parties receive it, and your choices. It matches the App Privacy labels shown on the App Store and the Data safety section on Google Play.
Quick summary: Puzzle Glass keeps your puzzle progress, times, and settings on your device only: game progress never leaves your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no leaderboard, no cloud sync, and no in-app purchase. The App shows ads through Google AdMob, measures usage through Firebase Analytics, reports crashes through Firebase Crashlytics, and downloads puzzle artwork from our own art server. These services receive device identifiers, ad and usage data, diagnostics, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or photos, and the App never uses your device's Location Services.
1. What we collect
The list below follows the data types declared in the App Store privacy labels. "Linked to you" means the data is tied to an identifier of your device (the Firebase app instance id, the Firebase installation id, or the advertising identifier), not to a name or an account, because the App has neither. "Used for tracking" means the data may be joined with data from other companies' apps and websites for advertising; this only happens with the advertising identifier and only after you allow it (see section 4).
Device ID: your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Google advertising ID on Android), the Firebase app instance id, and the Firebase installation id. Used for third-party advertising (Google AdMob serves and caps ads), for our own advertising and marketing (measuring whether an install came from an ad for Puzzle Glass), and for analytics. Linked to you. The advertising identifier is used for tracking only after you allow it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or under Google's consent choices on Android.
Product interaction: how you use the App. Firebase Analytics receives the events puzzle_open, puzzle_start (with whether it was resumed), puzzle_replay, puzzle_reset, puzzle_give_up and puzzle_complete (with the puzzle name, the time taken and the move count), together with automatic events such as screen views and sessions. Google AdMob and the Google consent SDK also record app launches, taps on ads and interactions with the consent form. Used for analytics, third-party advertising, our own advertising and marketing, and app functionality. Linked to you through the identifiers above. Not used for tracking.
Advertising data: which ads were shown to you and how you interacted with them (views, taps, frequency), recorded by Google AdMob. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising and marketing, and analytics. Linked to you. Not used for tracking.
Coarse location: an approximate location (country or city level) that Google AdMob, the Google consent SDK and Firebase Analytics derive from your IP address when the App talks to them. We do not collect precise location and the App never asks for or uses your device's Location Services. Used for third-party advertising, analytics, our own advertising and marketing, and app functionality (deciding which consent message applies to your region). Linked to you. Not used for tracking.
Crash data: crash reports from Firebase Crashlytics, containing the device model, OS version, app version, and the state of the App at the moment of the crash. Used for app functionality and analytics. Not linked to you. Not used for tracking.
Performance data: app launch time, hangs, energy use and similar measurements collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK and by Firebase Sessions alongside crash reports. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising and marketing, analytics, and app functionality. Not linked to you. Not used for tracking.
Other diagnostic data: technical metadata sent outside crash reports, such as SDK versions, device model, OS version, network type, the Firebase installation id used to route diagnostics, Google Mobile Ads SDK diagnostics, and an art_download_failed event with the puzzle name and the error text when an artwork download fails. Used for third-party advertising, our own advertising and marketing, analytics, and app functionality. Not linked to you. Not used for tracking.
Kept on your device only, never uploaded: which puzzles you have unlocked and completed, the puzzle currently in progress, your best times and move counts, your language choice, and your settings. These live in the App's local storage and are removed when you delete the App.
2. What we do not collect
No account, sign-in, name, email address or phone number is required or collected to play.
We do not access your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, or camera.
We do not collect precise location and the App never uses Location Services; the only location data is the approximate location that Google derives from your IP address, as described in section 1.
There is no leaderboard, no cloud save, no push notifications, and no in-app purchase.
We do not sell your data.
3. Third parties
Puzzle Glass sends data to the following processors. Each one receives only what is listed here.
Google AdMob (Google LLC): serves the banner and interstitial ads in the App. Receives your advertising identifier (subject to section 4), the ads shown and your interactions with them, app launch and ad taps, performance and diagnostic data from its SDK, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Google may use this data to show personalized ads when you have allowed it, and shares performance and diagnostic data with the entities that display ads. See how Google uses data from partner apps and AdMob data practices.
Google User Messaging Platform (consent SDK): shows the ad consent message and the privacy options form where they are required. Receives an approximate location derived from your IP address (to decide whether a message is required), your consent choices, and your interactions with the form.
Google Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): receives the usage events listed in section 1, the Firebase app instance id, device model, OS version, app version, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. Never a precise location: the App never uses Location Services. When you have allowed tracking, Google Analytics may also attach the advertising identifier to these events.
Google Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC): receives crash reports and performance data with the device model, OS version, app version, the Firebase installation id, and the state of the App at the moment of a crash.
Our artwork server (art.62-238-17-135.sslip.io, hosted for us in Finland): the App ships only the first puzzle's full artwork (plus small thumbnails for the gallery) and downloads the other artworks from this server when you open a puzzle. Like any web server, it sees your IP address and the name of the puzzle requested. No identifier, progress, or usage data is sent with the request, and we do not use these requests to identify you.
Apple and Google Play: the App is distributed by the App Store and by Google Play under their own privacy policies. The App may ask you to rate it through the standard system rating prompt; that prompt is operated by Apple or Google and we receive no data from it. There are no in-app purchases and no sign-in, so neither Apple nor Google Play receives payment or account data from the App.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent message (Google User Messaging Platform) is shown before any personalized ads are served, letting you choose whether to allow personalization. Where the consent message applies, a "Privacy options" row in the App's Settings lets you reopen it and change your choices at any time, on iOS and on Android.
On iOS, the App Tracking Transparency prompt governs whether AdMob and Google Analytics may use your advertising identifier:
Allow: AdMob may serve personalized ads based on your activity in other apps, and your advertising identifier may be joined with data from other companies' apps for advertising.
Ask App Not To Track: AdMob serves only non-personalized ads and the advertising identifier is not used for tracking. The game stays fully playable either way.
You can change this any time in your device's system settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking). On Android, the Google advertising ID is used under the consent choices above, and you can reset or delete it and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Google → Ads).
5. Children's privacy
Puzzle Glass is rated 4+ on the App Store and suitable for all audiences, but it is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email goloio32@gmail.com and we will remove it.
6. Retention
Game progress stays on your device for as long as the App is installed. Downloaded artworks are kept in the App's cache (the five most recently played) and can be cleared by the system at any time. Analytics, crash and advertising data are held by Google for the retention periods of the services named in section 3. Our artwork server keeps only ordinary web server request logs.
7. Your rights and data deletion
Because Puzzle Glass has no account system, there is no profile to access or export beyond what is already on your device. Deleting the App permanently removes everything held locally, including your unlocked puzzles, times, and the puzzle in progress. Resetting your advertising identifier in your device settings breaks the link between past ad data and your device. For any other deletion request, for example analytics, crash or advertising data tied to your device identifiers, email goloio32@gmail.com from the "Contact us" row in the App's Settings or directly, and we will handle it, including asking Google to delete the data tied to your app instance id. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct or object to processing of your data; the same address handles those requests.
8. International transfers
Firebase and AdMob are operated by Google LLC (USA). Data sent to those services may be stored or processed in the United States. Our artwork server is hosted in Finland (Hetzner Online GmbH, Helsinki). By using Puzzle Glass you consent to such transfer where applicable.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy. The "Effective" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected in an updated App Store or Google Play release.
